Young Free England - Fighting for English Independence
Welcome to the website of Young Free England, England's Future. We’re the wing of the Free England party for all young people and students in England. We may be linked to our main party, but we set our own policy, run our own campaigns and speak our own minds. We exist to involve young people in decision making and ensure that the aspirations of young people are catered for in an Independent England. Unlike other political parties, young people are involved in all levels of Free England, from door step campaigning, through to directly influencing policy and providing strategic direction to the party. As a party member you also have the right to pick your local councillor candidates, those who stand to be the MP in your area and influence those who hold these positions in your area.
Young people are continually frustrated with Politics and decision making. Over the last ten years, many of us have only known a Labour Government who have introduced University Fees, taken us into an Illegal War in Iraq and signed more and more of our powers over to Europe. We are the only serious party campaigning for English Independence and Home Rule for England. Forget Europe, forget Britain and fight for England. Why should Scotland have it's own Parliament to vote on Scottish Issues, yet England doesn't have it's own Parliament to vote on English Issues? Join us and fight against this mis-justice and also have a great time doing it too! If you are aged 14 to 25, just contact us and we will send you out a Membership Form.
About Us
Young Free England was established in early 2008 when a breakaway group from the English Democrats, established a real independent party, who put English Home Rule at the heart of their principles. The current National Convenor was the founder of the organisation and got in touch with the main party's committee and addressed the concerns of Youth Issues and the need for a youth establishment fighting for true independence. The English Democrats also have a youth organisation, but are we in NO way connected. Free England believe in absolute English Independence, a policy the English Democrats firmly oppose. We are however trying to establish talks with the Young English Democrats to launch a National English Youth Council.
